I don't want to see anyone else wearing my clothes. I found this jacket online, and I really want it.

There is nothing wrong with you. Not one single thing. Any fault lies with the fashion/cosmetic/marketing industry that has trained you with false proof to believe that you’re not perfect.

Is that some sort of threat, Zuzu?  As in, here is what I want, but none of y'all can have it?  Or is it a one-of-a-kind item?  If not, I want to know if it comes in other colors, such as gray.

It does look very nice and transitional.

Oh, I ADORE that jacket.  Soft but still some structure.  May I beg the question, where did you find it?  I swear to not wear it when we meet.

LOL, I found it on Etsy. I am not going to order it, so you all can  :catfight: it out.

The jacket from cotton knit fabric is in size Small and is ready to ship. Inner part of fabric is light gray color.
Available also in jean blue and light gray (last photo).
Available in sizes: Medium, Large and Custom orders.

Here is another one from the same designer (no custom orders, it appears):

The jacket is in black and light gray colored double wool fabric. It is extremely soft
and one of the prettiest color combination ever.
Would look amazing with a top anderneath and a
cute pair of pants.

Available sizes: S, M, L

Lenght from soulder to hem: 27" in size M

The first jacket I posted is my favorite so far (would be more slimming on me), but I wonder how that collar would wear over time. Here is another image with it shown a different way.

I have a couple of long cardigans with the long cascading collar. It's trending this year. Like anything other trend, it won't be forever. But I would buy this jacket. It's unique enough to stand alone, apart from fashion of the moment, IMO. It looks well made, too. In terms of durability, I'd worry more about the belt than the collar.

Good point. I wasn't concerned about the durability of the collar as much as its losing its body. It photographs beautifully, but can see that thing flopping all over the place--especially because of the rolled edges.

The belt could always be replaced by a leather one, but I agree with Zuzu about the collar-- the lapels will be floppy in everyday wear. Which can look really cute. I have one of those open cardigans and I love it but it does get in the way sometimes!

The wool jacket (2nd one) is lovely and reminds me of the one I got from Edelweiss (which I'm wearing all the time).

Because of my shape, I tend to jump all over belted or kimono-style tops. It seems everything these days is made for very tall, narrow women. I can't wear tops like that--they just make me look larger. I mean, I actually have a waist, so why hide it?
