:agreed: Neither of the shades I have owned looked pink on me.  I still say that getting the 20ml travel size is the way to go when you first try these.  I have also seen trial kits on Amazon with 4 or 5 different ones.  The sales (40% off right now) on Misshaus are frequent and new customers usually get a nice freebie.  My first purchase from Seoulglamour on Amazon was also very satisfactory.

So did I, but I usually stay far away from Garnier skin care as most appears to be kind of gimmicky and very fragranced, like most of the L'Oreal stuff. My skin and fragrances DON'T get along. Aside from a very few things out there, what ever happened to simpler skin care? I know this has been touched upon before, but it bears mentioning again. Over on another board, a blogger bemoaned the fact that so many creams etc. have silicones and fillers in them which don't always benefit the skin.

I give this 2 thumbs up.

I'm stuck off-site at a migration of IT services for our customer.  Every morning I struggle out of bed, shmear Missha #23 and #27 on, splash on a little something else, and run out of the hotel.  The BB cream holds up through a 12-hour work day without sliding off my face.

I am really impressed.

I know you don't say that lightly, Cougar.  High praise, indeed.

Yesterday and today I put on my Missha BB 23 on and both days my DH said "wow, your skin looks fantastic, younger and smoother".  Gosh I love this stuff.

That Missha stuff DOES sound good - is it online only? How to tell what shade etc.? For the record, I wear an NC25 in some MAC foundations.

I've only seen it online.  I got the 23 because I am pretty fair.  I've also used the 21 they  threw in for free.  Sometimes I mix it.  Others do that too.  You might look at the sight.  The beauty of the product is that it blends in so nicely with your skin that although it is tinted it doesn't look like makeup anyway.  Check it out.  It seems to be making my skin better.  I've been using it for about two weeks.

I am just so impressed that your DH would notice your skin and comment on it!  He's a real sweetie.

Cara, I think it's online only as Missha is Korean.  However, the US site is "local" hence it ships so quickly.

I thought I'd be a #23 but I thought it was a bit ashy.  It's almost a flat beige (which is me).  BUT I still have a tad bit of warmth and the #27 is great (and is a bit warmer).  My "best" look is to blend the 2 and then it's almost a true match.  There are very few shades as one shade covers a wide range of tones.  Part of the beauty of the product is that it changes over the first half hour or less to blend into your own skin tone.

Look for their deals.  My first purchase was a free "sample" and I just paid shipping.  The sample was a full-sized tube.

I love Missha Cho Bo Yang #1.

I´ve worn it for work a couple of days now, and the staying power is amazing. I love the way it looks, too.

I asked DH what he thought about it, how my skin looked, remembering Hawk Lady´s husbands comments to her. My DH looked confused for a while, then suggested: "Yellow?"   Not exactly the response I was looking for. (Ok, it does not look yellow. Really.) I told him it contains gold, and he tried a good save: "Well, gold is yellow, right?" Bless him.

It really looks nice. A work-mate told me my skin looks glowing. The shade is perfect for me. I like the scent, I love the fact is has SPF, I love how my skin looks. I love the staying power. So far, love.  :heartthrob:
  • Complexion: NC 15 winter, NC 20 summer. Still oily.
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Hair: Very fine + wavy / curly. Would naturally be light or medium blonde - I think! Who knows?
