Oh dear, something else that's PINK - ugh! Why do "skin brighteners" and now so-called "color-control" things have to be pink? Don't they realize there are people for whom pink does NOT go with their skintone and in fact makes them look ashy or pale? I know it does me, with my light-to-medium skin with golden undertones. Pass. Also, I hate the preconceived notion that lighter skin tones are by default cool. Indeed, some are, but not all.
Also, this brings up the issue of why does the color tone of one's complexion need to be "controlled" at all? Far better to embrace what one has and find makeup colors that complement that instead of trying to "fix" one's skin color. Back in the day, some makeup people swore that if one had yellow-toned skin, one had to wear pink-toned foundation(of which there was and still is plenty)to "correct". Looks like that idea is still around with the skin brighteners that have cool-toned mica particles in them etc. Not all that many have golden particles. And now Color Control cream being on the pink side.
Maybe better if the so-call Color Control cream came in three shades - warm, neutral and cool? Then it might appeal to a wider group of people.
