Revlon New Colorburst Lip Butter

I was at my local Rite-Aid yesterday when I ran across these new lip balm from Revlon. I purchased the Peach Parfait(?) and the Gumdrop - lavender. They run about $7.50.  I was not crazy about the peach one - lots of glitter for my taste. I'll have to work with that one. But, I love the  Gumdrop. It's the perfect lavender color. I've been searching the right lavender lipstick and I think I found it.  *fingers crossed*

I'm testing them today so I don't have any comment, yet. Anyone seen these or purchased any?

I have been reading about these.  Apparently they are in limited availability ATM - only Rite-Aid or Bed Bath and Beyond.  They will be on shelves everywhere in Jan. 2012.  Pretty smart marketing by Revlon, if you ask me!  They are being sought after right now.

I'm really loving the Gumdrop. The lasting power is the same as any of the lip balms I've used but this one, anyway, is really pigmented. I may have to go hunting for this color and check out the reviews on the other colors.  I do love the packaing. They are quite pretty.

Have you seen the reds?!?  They look very high-end!  I have seen these compared to Clinique Buttershines and even Chanel and Dior!  (Exaggeration?  I couldn't say.)

I've been wearing the Pink Truffle, a MLBB shade. I think this formula rocks and is better than Clinique, Dior, or Chanel because it's not as "mushy".

Thanks, BB - I am interested in the Pink Truffle.  I really can't get over how great the reviews for these are!  I still haven't found swatches for all the colors, but I'm looking.  The reds look wonderful - two coats and they look like lipstick.  Everyone comments on how moisturizing they are, too.

I haven't put on regular lipstick since I've found these. I may have to go back to Rite-Aid and get some more of these. I want to get one of the reds, at least. I'll look for Pink Truffle, too.

I don't believe I've ever seen a Rite Aid, except online. Looking there, I don't see Colorburst Lip Butter though.

Patience, however, is becoming my middle name.

People are finding them in the occasional CVS or Walgreen's, besides Bed Bath and Beyond and Rite-Aid.  I just read that there are 20 shades in all.

I heard that these are going to be a permanent line and will hit stores that sell Revlon in November.  I didn't get a chance to look at pink truffle over the weekend- getting ready for Halloween  - but will try next weeken. Maybe by then, Walgreen's and CVS will carry them.

I saw them at CVS yesterday, too. Some of the shades are quite bright, and I don't do bright. However, there are about four shades that I like. I purchased another one (Orchid).

Nah - I don't like bright either, but from the swatches and photos I have seen, there are 3 or 4 I think I would like.  I'm not gung-ho enough to actively search for them, but I am keeping an eye out when I go anywhere.
