$15 Gift Card from Sephora
« on: December 01, 2011, 03:06:24 PM »
If you are a Beauty Insider, you should be getting one of these in your email.  It's for $15 off a $50 purchase, which would be 30% off.  I haven't ordered from them in ages, but this is a nice discount.  Plus Sephora has 8% cash back on Ebates now.

So...what do I need?  Anyone using one of these?

You should have it by Dec. 3.  It's $15 for BI's and $20 for VIB's.

I wonder if it's also printable to use in stores?

Yes, I know you can use it in the store.  I would print out the email when you get it.

Also, I gotta say it -- I love your avatar!

Yeah, I must think on this. I do love the OPI nail polishes. You can never have too many UDPPs. Guerlain LipLift (if they carry it).

I got mine.  :D  It's for $20 off.  I don't know if I'll be able to keep to just $50 though.   Even if I spend $60, that'd be 30% off still.

Also, I gotta say it -- I love your avatar!
Thanks!

I have long coveted the Lip Lift, Cougar - I think because of your glowing comments about it.  My old standby, the one from Avon, was discontinued and I am not satisfied with its replacement at all.  *pondering*

I don't know if I should say this in public, but last year the gift card worked on less than a $50 purchase.  Of course, then you have to pay shipping, but it still might work out for someone.  I doubt you could do this in a store, though.

Hey Marcia - it ended up costing me about $50.  I just couldn't resist picking up a couple of stocking stuffers for DD along with the other 2 Christmas gifts I got.  The only thing I got for myself was the 100 point bonus and a couple of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer samples.

I have been holding onto my beauty points forever. They've got to amaze me with a makeup palette. Don't want a bag of skincare samples, etc.

My points are over a year old because I never placed a Sephora order this year. I'm afraid they will be discontinued before I see something I really want to use the points on.

Oh, guess what I saw today as I was cleaning up my computer a little? My old gloss.com log in. I sure miss that site!

Yea, even after I redeemed 100 points, I still  have over 500 left!  The 500 point gift yesterday was a set from Tarte.  It looked OK, and I like some of Tarte, but wasn't feeling it.
The 100 point gift I chose is the Algenist Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer.  I don't know if you can lose your points, Styyna?

I haven't gotten an e-mail or snail mail card yet.  But I am somewhat content with Sephora hauls after F&F and then the 20% sale so soon after that.  Maybe that's a hint that I should be diverting the funds to another option.  LOL

I've got mine! I was reading Karla Sugar's blog about the new IIllamasqua “rubber finish” nail polish formula. I couldn't find the collection under Sephora but I found that the individual colors at Sephora are called "satin finish". Why?

Anyway, they look gorgeous (a top coat would ruin the effect) so this may be my spending of the cupe.

Oh, Cougar!  Those nail polishes are gorgeous!  Did you see how many? Over 30!  They aren't all satin finish, but the ones used by Karla's guest are.  (Did you ever see such perfect nails?  Makes me want to wear gloves.)

Which shade(s) are you looking at?

Hi lgl and welcome to TTB.

Just a friendly note to suggest that on a forum this small, creating an account and asking for a freebie probably isn't the best and fastest way to make friends here. So please don't be surprised if you don't receive a response to your request.

Just a reminder: Today is the last day to use your $15 BI gift card.  Tomorrow is the last day if you have a $20 VIB card.

**TODAY ONLY**, however, Ebates has Sephora listed with 10% cash back on their Cyber Monday2 sale.  That makes this the best day to order for everyone.

I forgot to say that I did use my gift card on Monday.  I got a Clinique mascara set and the Beauty Blender sponge.  I always get perfume samples when they have them, so I have three of those coming, plus I used a code to get a deluxe sample of Narciso Rodriguez yumminess.  Oh - and I used up 100 of my points to get the Algenist serum, just for fun.

I didn't use mine. I withheld. I wanted to but felt I needed to slow down.  But I'm still thinking of those nail polishes.
