The Calming Lotion works to calm reactive skin, no matter the cause.

The fact that that creams comes from a site that's devoted to rosacea, which I DON'T have, is a little too specialized for me. I prefer stuff that's a little less targeted myself, but thanks anyway - that's just me!:)

I am still recuperating from my hip surgery that was done on valentines day and over did it yesterday,  and that messed with the plan I had to try the Lactc Acid peel sample I got from MUAC last week.  I will let you all know how it goes when I do get a chance to try it out.

Oh, I meant to ask about your hip surgery, HL. Oohhh, yes, don't try to do too much.  I hope you feel better soon!

I'm thinking about getting a facial peel.

So, I went to derm yesterday to remove from skin tag and I discussed facial peels.  The cost is up there but not tooo crazy. So, while I didn't make an appointment right there and then, I am going to for next month.  I like this derm because they didn't want to sell me the package deal because they want to see first if my skin can take the peel. She said that it would be best to have it on a Thursday afternoon because if you are going to peel, it won't be the next day but rather the 2nd day, which would be Saturday.  There is no hard sell and I like that.

Susie, what kind of peel where you discussing? I´m very curious. Also, please remember to take pictures before and after. If you are shy, maybe just a picture of a small area of the cheek, or the forehead? I´m convinced we´d all love to see your results and hear your reports!

My question, exactly!  I'm curious about your expectations of the peel and what it is supposed to accomplish.  Your derm sounds like a real gem!

I may take picture of my forehead..maybe.   But, they want to try the mild one first and she told me that after, your face will feel smooth and glowy. We didn't go into details but once I do, I will report in and wil try to post pictures.  :)

I don't know if results from a mild peel will show up in photos, but it won't hurt to try.  Definitely describe them for us, though.  Smooth and glowy work for me!

No, I don't know either, Listy. But, if I see any difference, it will be posted.   In regards to your earlier question, my expectations?  My skin  is  doing really good since Cindy's line but I wanted to see if any peel would would any difference or not.  You know, I was there and waiting and we have this subject so I figured, why not.  I really don't know what to expects but it could only be good right? :D

You may find this is something you will want to do when you have a special event planned, or a picture being taken, or a birthday, or an anniversary....um, whenever you feel like it! :)

Well, I thought I was going to be able to leap tall buildings with a single bound just becuz I didn't have to use crutches when I got home from surgery.  What I didn't realize was how sore I would get and how quickly the soreness would hit me when I was moving around.  Still haven't tried my at home peels.  I'm thinking maybe next week when I get a bit stronger.  Thank you all for your nice comments.  SusieQ, I'm interested in how it goes for you too.

Feel better soon HL!  And, take it easy.  I will make a appointment for next month and I will report it.  I think I'm a bit more apprehensive  about how the peel would feel on my skin.  We're not new to peeling. Any sun worshipper would know that look. But, I will definitely give details of the process.  :)

I finally did my at home facial peel today.  I used the lightest Lactic Acid Peel MUAC offers.  I followed the directions and only left it on for 7 minutes.  There was some Stinging but it was very light while I had it on.  The stinging was slightly more intense while I was rincing it off.  It quickly subsided when I applied the ph balancer followed by a coating of argon oil.  My skin looks very glowie.  They say you can use it two or three times a week so I will probably do it again on Wednesday .  I will let you know if my skin does anything funny and how it is after the next peel.  They are supposed to be cumulative .

Thank you for the report HL!  I haven't had a chance to make an appointment. It's a really busy month at work. I will make the appointment for next month when I get a moment to call.   Maybe I can use what you're using after my first peel as a maintenance. Looking forward to hearing more about your results.
