I have heard complaints about fragrance in their lipsticks.  Does it seem okay to you?

Also, Lancome is the Ebates Daily Double today only - 14% cash back.   Just sayin'...

No, the Pale Lip didn't have any scent but I know that some of their skinline do.  Some I do like because I like flowery scent and that's what I smell that in some of the skin line.

Another cheapy nude lipstick is by Essence - $1.99 - I think from Ulta. The #52 In the Nude has a slight pink understone and does not make anyone look deathly.  And, for the price it's quite moisturizing.

That makes the second Too Faced lipstick mentioned.  I have never even tried one of their lipsticks!  The situation must be corrected soon.

My old fave, Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick in #256 in Goddess has been discontinued, sadly. Haven't been able to find it anywhere, so I guess it really is. Anyhow, I've been looking around - drugstore only, since that's my budget and I tend to like drugstore lipsticks and glosses MORE than higher end ones. Anyhow, in Maybelline's Colorsensational line of lipsticks in their "Naturals" shades there are a few really good ones - Broadway Bronze, Tinted Taupe(a little pinker, but great if one is wearing a slightly smoky plum eye look - this keys in nicely), and if one wants to go deeper, Crazy for Coffee is rich, classy-looking color. There are a couple of lighter shades but I didn't check them out as light lipsticks don't do a thing for me - I have to go to more of a medium shade. There are some nice glosses in the Colorsensational line and cheap too - I got one at Bed Bath and Beyond in Broadway Bronze for just $4.89(at our Walgreens here they're $7.99 which is still pretty good). Most of the nudes that I've mentioned here are warm-neutral, so if one is cool-toned they might not work. Tinted Taupe MIGHT though. Anyhow, with the lipgloss I got, it works GREAT over my Wet 'n Wild #666 lipliner pencil. As well as lining the lips, I fill in the whole lip area with the pencil, and then apply the Broadway Bronze gloss on top. Looks a whole lot more expensive than it is and a great MLBB combo. Even when the gloss wears off some, it still looks good, as one has the stain from the lip liner pencil underneath. I love it when I find inexpensive stuff that works great and looks expensive to boot!

I've only found them at Ulta.  In the store they have a small display area for the Essence products that I often forget to look what they have when I'm at Ulta.  But, I always end up in the NYX area lately.  :D

I've been trying to be really good and haven't made any major purchases lately.  I haven't even visited Ulta in the last two weeks but I just received a 20% discount on the total purchase so I may visit...

My favs:

Bobbi Brown:  Brownie Pink
Too Faced Gloss:  Flirt
Clinique:  Twilight nude - I like the color but am not a huge fan of its texture or staying power.

Once upon a time, 'Tova' (QVC) made a nude liner that's the perfect neutral.  I have 1/3 of the pencil left and use it sooo0 sparingly.  Still haven't found a decent replacement :(

I wish that if a company discontinues a product that they would offer some kind of replacement or a dup. They make you fall in love with product and then pulls the rug under and you end up spending money trying to find a replacement.   >:(

Yes, Buxom/Bare Escentuals does this all the time with their glosses.  I have fallen in love with several of their colors only to find they've discontinued them by the time I'm ready for my first refill.  To be honest, I won't even look at their glosses anymore for this reason.  It's too bad because I really like Buxom glosses.  They have great staying power.

I'm not familiar with the Tova lip liner, but I wonder if you might like the Boots No7 nude liner designed by Lisa Eldridge.  It's a twist-up type pencil, said to be creamy in texture.

That being said, I use MAC Whirl, but if I ever finish it, I'd gladly try the one from Boots.
