Interesting Milla. Does a shorter summer break probably result in better retention? Isn't it fun to have something to look forward to when school lets out? :)

SusieQ - I'm too am hoping this is the kick in my behind needed to get a few small projects pieced together. Then in the winter I will do the hand quilting and mix it up with some knitting.

Getting back in to quilting is going take some time since I have to introduce myself to my sewing machine and it's many features but it's not like I'm going anywhere soon. 

I need to get back into knitting, too.  :knit:

We're all quite tired now... we had Sports day today, which I always enjoy, although I am not very sporty at all. I feel like it is Friday.  It is great that you're all into quilting, we can swap ideas and tips!
