OMG, yes! "Halleluja" and "Waiting for the Miracle" are favorites..

I've been listening to him since the 60's, when I would sit cross-legged on my bed and put the record on.  I introduced a lot of other girls in the dorm to Leonard Cohen that first year.  I thought I was saving their souls while improving their taste in music.  Wonder if any of it stuck?

It's okay - you're probably a bit too young.  I was attracted to his work when I started college because he was a poet.  I liked the literary connection to his music, because I was an English major and heavily into poetry at the time.

I just finished watching "Leonard Cohen Live in London" on KQED (PBS). His voice isn't what it used to be, but I really enjoyed the concert. He's amazing.
