I love it! My sniffer isn't back to it's former glory, so I am having a hard time identifying the notes, but I know I smell good, as a few people told me so at work today.

I was really happy to see it is sold as pure parfum, edp, and edt.

I am a little embarrassed that anyone could smell me, as I try to be very discreet. I miss the old days when women wore fragrance without worrying about allergies.

Has anyone else tried this?

I don't wear the regular Chance but I wear Chance Eau Fraiche. I do love that one in addition to my No. 5 Premiere and Coco Mademoiselle.

I just looked at the cardboard that it came in (I received two samples from chanel.com) and it looks like it's the Tendre version which only comes in EDT.

Poop.

I haven't sniffed the two other Chances.

I also have two samples of the No5 Premier that I have been meaning to try.

Is Coco Mademoiselle different from Coco? I had a bottle of (what I think was plain old) Coco in the early 90s, but I didn't care for it. I wore No19 almost exclusively back then.

Coco Mademoiselle is completely different from Coco, (which is a very spicy, heavier scent.) I don't know whey they even used the "Coco" in the name. They are unrelated.

I am afraid Chance is one of the scents I just don't care for on me. It is fine on others, but less than stunning on my skin. I love #5, and used to love #22 until they made it so hard to get; but Chance and #19 just don't do it for me.

I haven't tried Chance yet but Coco Mademoiselle, No. 19 and Cristalle are in regular rotation depending on time of year for me.  I used to wear Allure about 12 years ago but really don't care for it now.

This is the favorite scent of one of my nieces, so I don't feel right wearing it since it reminds me of her.  I love it on her, however - it is a very happy-smelling perfume.  I associate it with spring or summer, I think.
