Spalook came through with the Matis eye cream like a charm. Wish I'd figured out that 20% off first order, though.

Once it arrived, I fessed up to DD that I briefly feared that I might have sent her the last tube in the universe. She claims that she would have sent it back to me....adding "so glad I don't have to because this stuff is seriously da bomb."

A British Ebay seller is offering a 2.5 oz Matis Lip and Balm treatment (professional size tube). There´s one left, as I just bought the other one.

Funny: I think the new La Mer Intense Eye Balm is the best in the world (bought it for the first time last Dec in USA) but I still need to try Matis. And, of course, hubby needs something to use, too. I am not leaving my La Mer Intense Eye Balm out where he can use it. So, there is something I won´t share with him!

  • Hair: Very fine + wavy / curly. Would naturally be light or medium blonde - I think! Who knows?

That Matis eye cream is another item on my bucket list.  It came so highly recommended here and, while a little bit pricy, it isn't up there with the La Mer!  Remember, I usually go with something from Olay, Neutrogena, Paula's Choice, or ShiKai.  The Matis would be a big step up for me.

A bucket list is made up of things you want to do before you "kick the bucket," i.e. die.  They can be funny, romantic, adventurous, educational - anything you want to do "some day."

I first heard the term in a movie by that name starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, directed by Rob Reiner.  It's about two terminally ill men who set out to accomplish everything on their lists.

I have a sort of running bucket list of cosmetic items I mean to try at least once to see if they really are as good as people say they are. That Matis eye cream and Cougar's T. LeClerc loose powder are on it.

Hey!  This would be a good topic, wouldn't it?

Ha! I somehow imagined a huge bucketful of skincare and make-up products before your explanation.

BTW, I can blame you guys for almost all of my make-up + skincare purchases nowadays.  You breed lemmings in your back yard, right?

My Matis Lip & Eye treatment arrived, and it is HUGE. It is not 2.5 oz as promised, but over 3 oz (100 ml). It looks more like a tube of hand cream. It is not blue but a white tube. Difficult to say if it is genuine, hubby is trying it as we speak.  Seller seems to have 100 % positive FB, I´d think some Matis users would know if the products weren´t genuine.

I do not know what the prizes are for your guys over there, but this Ebay seller sells professional sizes of many Matis products.

Just sayin´.

I don't know if this is the real deal, Anne. I buy Matis Eye and Lip Treatment Mask from Spalook and it comes in a 0.68 oz blue tube. That doesn't mean there couldn't be larger packaging, as yours is. Still loving it!

I wouldn´t know if it is genuine, would I?

She SAYS it is a professional size. Makes sense, but as I said....   :-[

I had a sample of this awhile back and I gave it to my nephew and he loved it!  Maybe I should have kept it.

Hi Anne,
Matis does indeed make a professional or spa size, in white packaging.  And if you can find these online they can be a GREAT buy indeed.  I bet this is genuine, because Matis is such a niche line I don't think that anyone would bother faking it, I mean why fake something that almost no one has heard of when you can fake a bigger name, like Chanel or La Mer, haha!

That big tube will last you forever!! What a great find, congratulations...hope you do indeed like it. If not, I'm sure you can find a buyer here (like me!)

This stuff is still my HG/Hall of Fame/ Desert Island eye cream.  In the last year I've also tried Amore Pacific's eye cream (got a generous sample at Neiman Marcus) and no, thanks, I'll stay with my Matis.

I & DH like it a lot! It is *really* moisturizing!

THANK YOU for lifting my mood re - fake or genuine!

Ah - I see the item on the U.S. site.  She ships worldwide but we have to contact her for U.S. shipping costs.  The approximate price would be $77.70 for 75ml, plus shipping.

The tube pictured is blue and 75ml would equal about 2.5 oz.  It would be nice to get the same big white tube that anne got!
