Thought you might enjoy some photos of my house...
« on: February 06, 2011, 04:51:38 PM »
I still have a lot of painting to do and need new floor covering in bedroom... but I like to take my time... plus it's $$$$$$.  Love to see some of your homes.

Thanks for sharing, Sue. You obviously put a lot of care into your home. I love the way you play with color. It's very elegant yet comfortable.

That was my first reaction as well.  Your use of color is striking in every room.

The decor is beautiful without making it look like a museum. Elegant but comfortable, too.

I love the kitchen and the yard.

My DD would love to have a window seat like that.  But there's no place to put one here - not without some remodeling anyway!

Your new master bath is beautiful - love the lighting!  Do you happen to know what the name of the paint color is in your living room?

Thanks for sharing.  :)

SueP, have you read The Well Dressed Home? It looks like your interior design might reflect your wardrobe.

If you haven't, I'll be happy to send you my copy. It's a book that is meant to be shared. :)

I agree with everybody, Sue. You have a warm and lovely home.  Thank you for sharing.  I have a house that has been invaded by a 5- year old boy. There is warning sign at the door and you have to sign a waiver before we let you in.

I gave DH a T-shirt that's like your sign, makinalist. It's a picture of a Yorkie and footprints that says "My Yorkie Walks All Over me." It takes a very secure man to wear that one!

Oh, and I have a sign in the kitchen that says: "My favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations."
