Spanx Slimming Apparel, anyone?
« on: March 22, 2011, 03:36:34 PM »
Put myself on a no-buy until I lose some weight.  However, I found my Spanx catalog that arrived before we went on vacation last week.  And it had free shipping code. And I went through eBates and got 5%.  And they have the Bod-A-Bing Pants in stock (which has not always been the case when I've been interested in these).  I already own the knee-length skirt which I should adore but barely wear because I dislike my legs. And I own the cropped pants which I love and wear a ton.  I figured the pants will be a work staple for me.

Possibly a TMI question... In the case of the cropped pants and the longer pants, would you wear underwear as your first layer, or would you skip that part due to the built-in shapewear feature?  Notice that I am not asking about this in the case of the skirt (has a skirty shaper, not like bike shorts)!   :D

Delicately said, Tupelo.     I consider my thigh length shapers to be panties.  After all, you are fully covered.
  • Complexion: Fair, neutral
  • Eyes: dark blue

There is nothing wrong with you. Not one single thing. Any fault lies with the fashion/cosmetic/marketing industry that has trained you with false proof to believe that you’re not perfect.

Extra layer not necessary, I agree wholeheartedly.  Just like not wearing a slip with a lined skirt.  There's no need.

If you really feel uncomfortable without underwear, how about just a pantiliner in your Spanx?
  • Complexion: fair neutral
  • Eyes: boring brown
  • Hair: dark brown (over the grey), coarse, naturally curly but treated with keratin
