11/22/63: A Novel
« on: November 08, 2011, 06:56:16 PM »
I am excited about the new Stephen King novel, especially since it deals with the one event in my lifetime that overshadows all others.

It's a novel of time travel and an attempt to prevent the assassination of JFK in Dallas.  The old question will rear its ugly head, I'm sure...if we could change the past, should we do it?  How would the world be different if we did?

I have a special affection for King's writing, so this one is on my list of books I want to read.

I too will keep an eye out for this one. I'm sure he will keep the reader on a knife-edge and really suffering those "If only" pangs.

I'm listening to a Stephen King audiobook at present - Blood and Smoke. His early Bachman books were amazing. They have stayed with me even though it's many years since I read them.
