Mine too - thanks, Sue.

Makes me wonder - How much amazing talent (not just vocal or entertainment) is hidden away by people's circumstances?

As for this young man, how much is innate talent and how much is the result of a young soul hungering for something beautiful in his life? As was mentioned, he chased his passion, he didn't wait for it to come to him.

Very moving! After watching, I checked him out on Wikipedia. His story has been well vetted in the Korean and world press. He did have people who believed in his talent who helped him. But he is the one with the dream, and I think he will be successful in achieving it.

BTW, he came in second in the finals. Quite an achievemeent, and he is Korea's first globally recognized "find" in the "Got Talent"  franchise.

We have watched his progress here as well.  I am amazed that he chose opera for his talent entry -- the piece he sang was quite difficult for a young voice to attempt. I  think that he would have won the competition if it were only for vocal contestants.  He lost to a dance act.

Watch the faces in the crowd after he tells his story and sings the first few notes.  There was scarcely a dry eye in the house, and I was blubbering right along with them.
