Artemisia eau de parfum  by Penhaligon.  Ethereal and like nothing else I have ever worn.

Mimi - I hope that your back is healing and that you are comfortable. Please let us know how you are doing. And, yes, I'd say you deserved to treat yourself to a new fragrance. Are you still loving it?

Une Femme - Artemsia sounds lovely. I will have to look it up to see if it's something I might like. I love your description!

Mimi - I am so sorry about your back trouble. My DH was recently diagnosed with the same kind of thing...a compression fracture and low bone density. So far he has only been prescribed OTC calcium supplements, but I wonder if that will be enough.

To keep on topic, I am still wearing the same scents I listed before, but I'm already tiring of my warm-weather choices. Our hot temperatures are here to stay!

I am just wearing L’Occitane Thé Vert, which was a birthday present. Don’t go for this sort of fragrance usually but I am enjoying wearing something very light and fresh.

Bulgari/Bvlgari (I never know if I should use the V or U     )  Green Tea.  I keep going back to this one in the spring/summer and have used about 3-4 bottles over the years.

I wore Muguet des Bois (Lily of the Valley) by Coty.  It's one of those fragrances that evokes memories from when I wore it years ago.  Love it!

I'm currently alternating between these two.  The second one is a long-time favorite Coty's Muguet des Bois (Lily of the Valley)

What gorgeous bottles!I have finished my Thé Vert by L’Occitane and, surprise surprise, I have bought some ô de Lancôme EDT. I never used to like it  but I am enjoying wearing it now. I am sure that your body chemistry changes as you age…

Oh, those are beautiful!!

In the summer kit from Sephora, they included a small bottle of Dolce& Cabbana in Light Blue and I've been wearing that everyday.  :heartthrob:  I will be buying the full size once this one runs out.

'Dolce' from Dolce & Gabbana - here is my thoughts from my blog:
it is Spring in a bottle!  It is a floral combination of white amaryllis & neroli and I thoroughly enjoy it!  Here is more info:
* Top notes: Neroli leaves, Papaya flower
* Heart notes: White Amaryllis, White Daffodil, White Water Lily
* Dry down notes: Cashmeran, Musky notes, Sandalwood
I rarely change fragrance but I got the official diagnosis of osteoporosis
(fractured my back) and I deserved a treat - so this is what I chose.
I usually go with more floral notes but I like this. It will get me to my fall scents.
Mimi

I know this isn't on topic, but how old are you;  if i may ask.  You can say, "over 40" or "celebrating my third twentieth", if you like.

I ask because i was diagnosed after a severe fracture (trimalleolar - three broken bones) in my ankle (damn those 3" espadrilles! ), two years ago.  The surgeon told my husband that im showing signs of early osteoporosis.   However, nothing was said to me or my family doctor.  I suppose i could bring it up to my doctor, but then I'd have to admit it.  Kwim?

Are you taking anything?

On second thought,  i suppose it isnt a formal diagnosis, but im sure the ortho surgeon knows what he's talking about.

Oh, and I'm 42.

I'm wearing Eau D'Italie eau De Toilette. I find fragrances which are too "heady" are cloying and nauseating. This one, which I got as a sample, is a light refreshing scent.

I don't wear scent as often as I used to, opting instead for the "just out of the tub soapy clean" scent.

I prefer citrusy scents to florals. Any recommendations?
