Extreme fatigue... Iodine?
« on: October 16, 2014, 06:34:22 PM »
Does any one out there take any type of iodine supplements. After hearing that many of us are low in iodine I started taking Kelp supplements that have 750 mcg of iodine per tablet. I was trying to boost my thyroid for fatigue reasons and also weight loss. The supplements ended up giving me extreme headaches so that was disappointing. I've read the daily amount of iodine should be 150 mcg. Maybe it was too much, though it was what was in one single supplement. Any thoughts or anyone have any success?

I assume you  had a blood test to check your thyroid function? In these cases the best option is to check with a doctor.
All the best x
