I have mixed feelings about it. I'm glad its there but I hope the mods will not narrow down what we older women can talk about there. I am finding less use for the general topic board, but still occasionally lurk. It seems to be only tolerable during a certain time and I'm usually in bed.  Feel too out of place. Ive been a long time member but most people seem under 30 and I feel ridiculous responding to anyone lately and find myself using my block button more than I thought. Glad TTB is still here because there are not many alternatives out there and Ive searched all over.  Other than entertainment have not much use for the board. Stopped with high end stuff and rarely wear perfume because mostly of my job and too many people have allergies to scent,so its just some might musk oil when at home. Makeup on the weekend if I feel like it. Gotta cut this short as I need to run errands.

I wonder if any forum which has such a huge number of readers and posters will disappoint many of them.  It's just too hard to find a way to please so many people, when all of them have the right and desire to express themselves, and especially about personal topics which the MUA owl board allows them to express.

I've also been wondering if any blog can be good (knowing that 'good' is subjective) for more than a few years.  Anybody who writes a blog will go through periods when they either run out of steam, ideas or want to be more private about their life.  And dealing with readers or fans who are inappropriate or just curious is another set of issues.  Plus the questions of sponsorship and how to make it economically worthwhile if you are not being sponsored -- it's a lot to deal with.

Cara, we need to start an older women's bohemian minimalist blog.  :-)  Or, you do, and I'll read it.  :-)  Sometimes I find blogs by an older woman which I like but often they have very expensive stuff, which isn't my case.

I don't have it in me to start such a blog although it sounds like a great idea for someone who is. I'm extended enough with posting sometimes on discussion boards, and the fact that I'm in touch extensively by e-mail and Facebook messaging with my absolute closest friend in the whole world who lives 3000 miles from me, who is on the same page that we speak of. I do have my art, dance, and life!:)
