Truly fantastic way to sample and get niche Paris perfumes
« on: April 06, 2015, 11:01:30 PM »
I am huge perfume fan but I don't like to wear scents that other people are wearing.  In other words, I prefer not to go to the Nordstrom counter for my unique scent.  Last year, I was in Paris and went to a perfume concept store where they find out the types of perfumes you like and then take you through a process to find a niche scent that you can't buy in US Stores and they matched me to the most beautiful scent I own!  So, I just feel like people need to know who are into perfume that this store is out there!  Obviously, you don't get to work with a specialist remotely BUT they do have on line profiling and will still match you to niche perfumes and then for less 20 USD, you can get samples of 5 to see if you want to buy one.  The shop is called Nose and it opened a few years ago in Paris.  I am totally in love with it and the scent I got was developed by one of the founders, it's a line called Linari.  And no one ever smells like me and always asks me what I'm wearing!

I have a blog, and here is an article about them with some photos and links.  BTW, I have no affiliation with them at all - they don't know me and I don't know them.  I visited the store once and was there for a couple hours last year.  I just think the concept is GREAT and I saw so many extraordinary perfumes and smelled some really beautiful scents when I was there so I want to share.

First,  :welcomepicture: Janine!

Thank you for posting this.  I don't wear perfume since many of the ladies and men during my daily commute are walking perfume/cologne factories and but the time I get to work, I smell of something. But, there are days that I do want to wear my own preference scent and this site sounds lovely. I will definitely check them out.  :)
