you're allowed ONE piece of make up. What do you choose?

I choose eye liner. I feel naked without it!

  • Eyes: hazel
  • Hair: slightly wavy, shoulder length, soft black

Not makeup, but definitely need my lash curlers. Would also love my Talika lash conditioner which makes my lashes look darker.
I guess I'd take lip gloss and I'd be ready! That is my minimal look on my days off, Talika, curl lashes, apply lip gloss, take off to public library!
Chataround, I know what you mean about eye liner. I always, but always wear it to work + meetings + any where important. We have a saying 'to learn something through the heel' meaning the hard way. I did that when I tried wearing "just a wash of colour" or highlighter on my lids to work abd everybody commented "Oh no, you're sick, right?" And "What is wrong?" Meaning "Why have you been crying? "
  • Complexion: NC 15 winter, NC 20 summer. Still oily.
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Hair: *Very* fine + wavy. Middle / dark blonde (my natural hair color) with some highlights.

I will chose  eyebrows shadow.
My eyebrows are quite rare and I can not imagine to not fill them...

I would choose lipstick. A lipstick that can be used also as a blush.

I choose mascara! Nothing like a big curled lash :)

That's a tough one! I don't use masses of make up anyway, usually a tinted moisturiser, mascara and lip balm during the week. Obviously more on a night out.

If it only one, then mascara, otherwise my eyes seem to blend into my face ;)

Mascara to open your eyes. If you need lipstick - eat beetroot. It will give you vits as well as doubling as a lip and cheek stain. We joke not - one of our team had her bag stolen and survived a whole conference on this formula!

After nearly a year of wearing no makeup at all due to anxiety, depression, and a couple other physical illnesses I am planning to find a pretty lipstick tomorrow when I'm out shopping for other necessities like clothing that fits for fall and winter. I remember the transformative effect simply applying a pretty lipstick had on my mother's face and hope for the same effect.
  • Complexion: NW10; slight rosacea; dry
  • Eyes: Blue-gray
  • Hair: Dark blonde with slight gray, thick, wavy, dry

What an excellent idea! lipstick is the best pick-me-up! Have you got anything in mind or are you just going to look for something new?

Well, the lipstick has to wait until later today or tomorrow. I spent two hours working with a personal stylist trying on clothing yesterday. I am certain I tried on at least 50 garments! It was hard, hot, sweaty work. I am pleased with the carefully selected items I purchased but I simply didn't have any energy left. I needed food and rest!

I'm going to go to a counter at a department store and seek guidance. It has been years since I've purchased a lipstick and I think my coloring has shifted since then. I want a pretty color that is noticeable but not over the top - maybe a medium pink since I have a lot of pigment in my lips?
