Baby Foot
« on: August 25, 2016, 06:42:05 PM »
I've been meaning to post about this foot exfoliating treatment.  I used it twice this past spring and got very good results.  My feet were in pretty bad shape after the winter; especially all around my heels, so I took a chance on this.  I was amazed after using Baby Foot how soft & smooth my feet were.  Now I could go & get a pedicure without feeling embarrassed!  8)

I ordered mine from Amazon.  I think it was $10 or $15.  I ended up getting a second one & doing it again a couple of months later, so I wish I'd purchased the 2/pack, but wasn't sure how'd I'd like it.

I've read all kinds of good things about the results from this product. The moulting period, however, is said to be pretty scary! How long did it take you to shed your skin, ILLucy?

Same as SusanG. I have felt very tempted but the descriptions of skin peeling after a couple of days really put me off. However, most people who reviewed it in the Boots* website said that they liked.

I had a lot of skin peeling the first time I used it.  Less the second time.  I'm not sure why.  Maybe because my skin was in better shape the second time, & needed less peeling?
For me, there was no peeling for the first several days right after (maybe 3 days).   I had read a review on Amazon that said they had good results with soaking their feet in warm water each day after using Baby Feet.  I tried this, & it really seemed to help & also speed up the peeling a bit.

I would say about one week of peeling.

Boots is now owned by Walgreens, so it is a US company, I think it has been for a year plus.

I have used this and was very pleased with the results.  Be aware that you will be shedding skin with this so wear socks or peds to bed to catch the peels.

My question, any pain at all during or after the process?  And, the peeling process, any pain there, too?
