Knitting class
« on: December 21, 2016, 01:55:22 PM »
Did I tell you I was taking a sock knitting class? I forget.
Just a 3 week class on a worsted weight "house" sock, toe-up.  We learned the first sock, & then are on our own for the mate, though I've already been back to the yarn store for help with that one too!  Fortunately the owner is very encouraging.
It has not come out very nice looking, but I'm pleased & looking forward to doing a 2nd pair; maybe in dk weight & prettier yarn. Did this first pair in solid red color.   :knit:

I'm so impressed! I haven't undertaken socks yet. Are you using DPNs or the other method with long circular needles (can't remember what it's called)?

Knowing you, you're being modest about how great they look. You have high standards for yourself, even on first-time projects!
